Why turn your back on an easier life? Here are 5 reasons why you can trust us with your financial concerns:
Save your valuable time
It’s so easy to let this area of daily business life get out of control when you’re managing every aspect of a business, from bookkeeping to VAT returns, employee benefits to payroll management, the minutes tick by and you wish that you had 25 hours in a day or another pair of hands. You’re exceptionally good at what you do so why not take advantage of our competitively priced services and allow us to do what we do best?
WIth an array of apps on the market, you might wonder if struggling on by yourself is a good idea but we recommend hiring a human accountant because we offer a personalised service with an eye on what would work best for you, not any number of other businesses. We give helpful opinions, alert you to potential issues and produce accurate and informative reports for you to utilise.
We guarantee continuity. Whoever handles your accounting needs, we work to the same rigorous standards.
We save you money
Whilst we don’t offer our services for free we provide a more cost effective solution than an in-house employee tasked with the workload. We don’t ask for a salary, benefits package, company car, holidays or sick pay from your firm. That means you can use your precious capital on other core business interests.
We are HMRC, Brexit and Covid-19 conversant
The legislation attached to accounting including correct processes for submitting HMRC friendly tax returns can appear mind boggling. It seems as though the goalposts are constantly shifting at the moment. One month we’re in lockdown, another in a tier system with Covid. Are your staff on furlough, is your team being reduced or have the VAT and business rate alterations left you baffled? Alongside any pandemic related concerns, from January 2021 the full ramifications of Brexit will also impact on accounts, management, imports and exports. It’s a full time job staying up to date with it all. So don’t. We can handle the onslaught of changes and their implications for you. Sleep at night knowing that we’ve got all the answers to your questions and are ready to handle whatever comes next.
Importantly, we have the knowledge to help you set up your business and advise which form of company suits your aims most appropriately. We explain the responsibilities of selecting your directors and company secretaries.
You don’t lose control
Outsourcing your financial workload to our experts may feel unnerving. You’re entrusting a vital area of your business to a stranger, but making that decision can remove a great weight from your shoulders. Maybe you’re the sole trader in a new business and don’t have the time or knowledge to devote to financial management tasks. Perhaps your employee has left you and you don’t have a viable solution in place. Could you be sick and tired of staring at a spreadsheet at 1a.m. looking for a missing 20p in the accounts? Do you wake up wondering how to keep HMRC happy? Does the thought of VAT make your blood run cold?
Whatever your operation size, ambitions, sector or market share, we can help, and we work with you at the core of everything we do. We’re friendly, reliable, professional human beings who have no intention of shredding your business plans, fiddling the accounts or taking away your control. And we won’t be strangers for long, we’ll have your finances in common. Moreover, we communicate effectively. You have clarity at every moment. Any questions and we won’t blind you with terminology or dismiss your concerns or interest. That’s not us. We want you to be satisfied, confident and successful.
Using our services across your payroll, bookkeeping, HMRC submissions and for ex employees has a significant effect on reducing employee fraud. We would all like to believe that every person recruited is honest and has no ulterior motives. However, the employee fraud statistics are staggering. We offer an impartial and practical service and have the expertise to spot problems. For example, in 2017 a secretary in the north of England defrauded her boss by claiming to be terminally ill. Compassion and sensitivity meant that checks on her state were not made and £15000 was taken from the firm and her colleagues. She was only found out when she was taken to hospital after an incident and the medical staff confirmed that she was not terminally ill. In 2017 in the UK, over £40 million was lost to employee fraud. Please don’t fall prey to it. Allow us to safeguard your finances. Our reporting tools highlight anomalies so if employee A normally claims £150 for petrol per month and this has risen without good reason to £250, the £100 claimed must be accounted for logically. Sometimes, as you spin all the proverbial plates from within a business you can miss things.
A new fraud issue has been created by furlough. We now know that there have been millions of pounds worth of fraudulent claims made by less honest UK businesses .
One man, the first in the country to be arrested for furlough fraud, claimed £500000. By August the government had already realised that there were in excess of 180000 fraudulent claims for furlough and each of these, and all other cases, have to be dealt with. HMRC has set penalties that should prevent an escalation of the problem; 100%+ of the amount fraudulently claimed.
Perhaps some of these fraudulent claims were caused by confusion rather than criminal intent but a trained, accredited accountant wouldn’t be susceptible to a fraud unless they wished to cease trading and incur the wrath of the law.
With our team of specialists at your service, you won’t have to worry that someone will take advantage. Save your time and energy for growing your business, we can handle your paperwork.
Secure your peace of mind.
